Snowboarding
Ski Center Mavrovo provides excellent opportunities for snowboarders and freestylers. All the lifts are suitable for snowboarders and you can find riding opportunities for beginners and intermediate skilled riders but you can also find challenging runs for experts. On a powder day you can enjoy some off-piste delights all around the mountain.
Test your skills for speed carving on our black slopes for the Night riding. Every friday and saturday you will have that opportunity from 19.00 - 22.00.
Within the snowboarding the Ski Center has history with long list of national, regional, european cups which took place in border-cross, parallel slalom and giant slalom, as well the freestyle segment is happening in the Snow Park.
Splitboarding
The splitboarding culture as well as the ski touring culture is growing year by year. The Bistra massif with it`s vast terrain offers huge varieties of riding lines suitable for every level.
Ski Center Mavrovo endorse and supports the development of splitboarding culture, but “splitting” on groomed pistes is forbidden in operating day of the slope, because of safety measures. Be aware that on the black pistes Korja - Ednosed and Mavrovo 1 and 2 after operating hours, the groomers are constantly at work with cable winches due to avoiding any risky situation.
